EKOFibre 1m slab x 12 Pack. EkoFibre is the natural alternative to Rockwool and is produced in the UK so is even greener than Coir.
When you have finished your crop, remove the plastic outer (also recycleable) and compost your slab and roots.
EkoFibre is a growing media made from 100% pine woodfibre and is the substrate of choice for the eco-friendly grower. It combines the best attributes of both mineral wool and coco and offers a friendly and unique alternative for today's hobby market
The raw material for EkoFibre is sourced from well-managed forests certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council and it is manufactured in the UK. It is also 100% organic and completely biodegradable, once used the grower can simply compost it with other natural waste.
EkoFibre is currently available as a 1m slab and is compatible with any media you choose to propagate in. Due to the nature of EkoFibre the grower is also free to empty the contents of the slab and use it as a hydroponic medium for growing in pots. We hope in time to expand the range and introduce new sizes and growing cubes for propagation.
